COMMON GROUND VIDEO TOUR
-
The COMMON GROUND brand Identity system was designed by Jhoselyn Contreras, James Dixon, Elizabeth Frias, Jazmyne Johnson, Nathalie Lantigua, and Camilla Zarzuela under the direction of Professor Chantal Fischzang.
This video tour showcases the works of 21 emerging designers from the Rutgers University–Newark Graphic Design BFA Class of 2025. Created as a digital extension of our senior exhibition Common Ground: Perspectives on Freedom, the video blends 4K footage and still photography to highlight each student’s capstone project.
The narration introduces each designer by name, project title, and the specific aspect of freedom their work explores, offering a cohesive and accessible overview of the exhibition for remote audiences.
I led the editing, narration script, and post-production process, working with raw footage, curated photography, and custom captions to deliver a video experience that reflects both the diversity of the projects and the collective spirit of the show.
COMMON GROUND | Mission Statement
In the 21st Century, pursuing and protecting freedom is both a personal and collective challenge. The 2025 Graphic Design Senior capstone exhibition, Common Ground: Perspectives on Freedom, explores how opposing viewpoints can reveal shared truths and foster unity. Through the lens of Communication Design, each project examines how perspectives can intersect, creating spaces for understanding amid polarization.
